Africa will never have a capitalist revolution it will be exploited by multi national corporations

That's a bleak outlook that you designate Africa as a primary natural resource basket for product developing countries. Land rich, ppl poor is what your promoting.

Dhulka waa qani dadku wa faqri is something new gen africans won't accept or the victim hood crap.

Why r u showing so much low confidence, what did u see that shattered your confidence? koley waa jeesatay(local confidence is one big metric investors look at)

Where do u blame? the incompetent govt, the ppl and its talent and productivity, the culture, the values.

Is the cursed location being the center of the world(access to any continent leading to a global scramble) or its global role as a natural resources breadbasket for developed world?

Is it a mix of this or some?

The government are incompetent and sell there nation for 5$ to any foreigner. The people are obsessed with western nations and the brain drain is getting so bad soon more Ethiopian doctors will be in los angles than in Ethiopia

Africa will always be exploited it’s resources are critical in this technological age and has many of the choke points in global trade located there

If you want to be a superpower like china or America you will have to plunder Africa of cobalt and other minerals and make sure a Gaddafi does not rise

My two cents to my ancestoral continent and yes I have a duty to it or else I wouldn't exist.

But get your act together. Stop this game heading nowhere of zero sum and lots of stalemates which never holds(systemic fragility and explosive and volatile which is the anthesis to what investors like steady growth and steady declines but not shocks or unacceptable risks) this isnt a good confidence builder for investors.

That needs honestly a competent govt to create those market enabling conditions, especially the rule of law, predictable and stable govt(they need long duration of stability to reach their financial goals), local confidence.

They need u guys to build infrastructure, good quality also not unreliable as that time lost especially transportation corridors like airports, ports, roads for its supply chains and people and goods movement.

Plus cheap yet reliable electricity(no power outage) that's time lost, salaries paid, no output bro, they go broke or decline quick.

U gotta fix the food security, clean water, sewage, drainage as these are basics human even need to be alive which comes before producing things or jobs.

U gotta fix the health, they want staff who they can maximise thru longevity not high turn over this is lost production hours in constant training. Business ppl hate disruptions and Somalia and Africa is very disruptive.

I've heard that theory may have some truth especially in the 20th century.

But I think China isn't using the western play book to keep its natural resource continent in a unsustainable aid or a war zone to keep natural resources cheaper model.

I doubt it bro they don't do political interference whether financially or proxies and respect the UN charter of nations political sovereignty.

From what I gathered they want to expand markets and that means seeing other countries rise which is something real investors want even some in America(Africa trade zone) but their handicapped by their foreign policy.

I doubt China is using a play book they saw its outcome plus its very anti Chinese values anyways(win win).

The CCP is not like the ones who came before them they have global ambitions and don’t care about UN or international laws although there much more subtle in there influence over nations using economic power rather than military power Basicly doing the same thing America is doiong to the rest of the west

China wants foreign markets to invest in whether or not they’ll pick Latin America over Africa is still in question( western hemisphere will be issue since that’s American sphere of influence )

I don't for one second doubt China wants to be a global boss but their not using the western playbook to get there, Chinese don't do things they saw failed or doesn't hold long(that's why a win win is huge value there).

Yes they have their own national equation set up(Bank loans and infrastructure at this stage) will it switch well yes most likely to areas of security influence but that's not here or now.

Yes they want to see bank loans going to infrastructure and warming up Africa and thru this to secure their businesses contracts.plus have a good friend in the continent.

That's just economic stage for now. It is expanding to Nuclear Plants for Kenya and Nigeria and Ghana which will spark a Nuke race once it changes from electricity to suspicious security related projects. They will then move in Military to secure its growing client states while also shifting totally off west who will be isolated.

Yes they have a beef with the west no doubt but if Africa can capitalise and achieve its own national goals, so be it I say. Africa can't keep missing windows of opportunity.

Life in Africa is the best if you are middleclass
