I completely became PL first then. The main driver was when Mogadishu switched from warlords and said we joining terrorists worldwide if you dare bring a govt to Mogadishu, that was the last straw for me, I knew the old Haram looting pact was far more important to these pagans then Somali national pride.

I never looked back really from that point forward. Before that I always had my suspicions about Mogadishu but I thought someone somewhere would put some reason and intellect into these people but I never saw that coming. It's funny watching the little naive kids today running around with the Somali one love Rasta song and focusing all their energy on foreigners because their deep down deflecting from their own painful internal reality which they can't face don't worry I was there at some point to.

I give them maybe a decade before they cut the cord too lol

A true reconciliation is my first signs of optimism and I mean a real one at every layer and fabric of society not just political but social also. As long as I see the usual blame game, finger pointing, sending horgals to light fires in different clan areas, clan wars, hiding in shabab to get even with someone of another clan but disguising it as Islam, looted properties returned, no foreign continual deflection by social masses or politicians.


A cultural revolution where the bad in each clan has to be expelled from their clan membership(universal rule nation wide) letting a few bad apples survive In a clan causes masses to hate each other and not cooperate. Social masses need to create a Facebook recording on their phones any moryan, terrorist,criminal or corruption and govt has to have a database on them to monitor, rehabilitate or kill.

A revolution that also eliminates all the most horrible social values like killing, lying, stealing, fraud, corruption, cheating, cutting corners thinking their smart. These are unworkable values to have across a social population nothing positive come from such value system.

Only once that is achieved then real nation state can emerge not on top of such rotten social foundations. I don't see a favorable working environment in Somalia irrespective of who leads it our issue isn't one or two leaders it's every leader that's not random but systemic and the systemic roots is us as a people if we r honest top to bottom everyone has rotten values.

@Sup in all fairness the reconciliation needs to start from 1960 Nott just 91 as some hold lots of hatred stretching back to the founding of the new nation. A council must deal with each period fairly consisting of all Somalis

1960 to 1969 council
1969 to 1991 council
1991 to 2024 council

Grievances stretch back to either period and is causing the conflict which the future is inheriting not changing or resolving but adding more fuel to the fire.

How can U sell to anyone we building a nation state after a civil war without any reconciliation, your just bringing ppl into govt who bring all the grievances inside the state and it rots from within by being dysfunctional and will always be fragile wondering when things will turn 91 dad aan heeshish ahayn oo ku leh dawlad baan dhisayna is absolutely outrageously stupid.

@Sup the real root of the problem is colonialism just like all African countries, we inherited a system not fit for Somalia but suitable for Europe or other feudal based societies. On top of that we inherited our bad governance and corruption from there also, ironically noone came and said we must remove that poison that was passed onto our local leaders and untill today they still do corruption.

There is a reason why Europe reformed itself to do good governance in its homeland, they knew corruption there will lead to their lands being depopulated like happened to Ireland, so they preferred to crush corruption to save their society not worry about their individual well being but they were so conniving they let us continue their old totalitarian authoritarian structures and corruption tradition, it's a poison with good intentions for them you can never rise or be a threat and ur lands eventually will depopulate over time, it's however not in your interest to follow their old governance culture because it's contributing to their end goals not your end goals and our leaders play into their grand strategy well.
