Sweden lacks data for recent years, I wonder why
It's not due to immigration, but birthrate patterns among whites. Their smart ones don't have kids or just one, while dumber whites have a lot more. This has been going on for decades.
if that was the case, they would have plenty of data for them to come up with a conclusion, like they did for norway and finland.
I am currently reading a book called Deep Work. It says that many successful, highly elite individuals disconnect from technology and spend hours a day working using no technology or very basic, non-internet connected technology. This includes famous filmmakers like Woody Allen, technologists, famous professors, venture capitalists, famous computer programers (like the guy who invented ruby on rails).
When you are disconnected from the cheap distractions and quick dopamine of things like Facebook and twitter, your mind has more time to focus intensely on the task at hand, and it's during this process of intense focus where brain circuits are built up and made efficient, and where you produce the best work and gain the most intellectual skill.
Great book, I recommend it.
