My Suugo linguistic theories:

Kordofanian is probably not Niger-Congo. I think it is a language isolate.
Hadza and Sandawe have nothing to do with Southern Kalahari region Khoisan. They are language isolates.
Omotic is probably a mixture of real Afro-Asiatic, mostly Cushitic, and an extinct Ethiopian language isolate (Mota man's language). This is why it is linguistically the most divergent from the rest of Afro-Asiatic.

You think it should be considered Afroasiatic then? Or should it be it's own thing?

Overall it is probably closer to Afro-Asiatic than to the hypothesized language isolate. Especially North Omotic (Wolayta, Kafa etc). South Omotic is linguistically more divergent and has more unique linguistic features from the Ethiopian language isolate.
