It's truly the last town in all Somalia where all somalis from east-north-south-ddsi come and trade and live, there is no other city in somalia with that attribute even Mogadishu. Lets keep galkacyo strong and be aboriginal aware at all times. We should send 'exhibition' tours into southern galkacyo to show all somalis how it's a zoo and the zoo stretches all the way south from there.

The majority in the south is hawiye noone else can take the blame for failing to lead the south. Hawiye own 700 kilometers just mogadishu to south galkacyo. From mogadishu to kismayo is 500 kilometers and darod would own 300 kilometers. Rahanwayne 200 km becuz baydhabo to mog is 200 km. Darod 300 km.

The south is a 4 sided pie. Half the pie is hawiye and a slice is darod and a slice is rahanwayn. Lets be honest. Who else can be blamed for the south mess. Either way if the south was a 'cake' half of it would be hawiye or more probably 50% hawiye. 20% darod. 20% rahanwayn.

Heck even Kismayo is far more peaceful regardless who would rule it. There was no real dramas in that city after change overs of admin, can you imagine a soobe in kismayo happening? i dont think so. 80% of the southern casualties are hawiye from my examination of civil war since 91 and now.
