Why carry both passports? If you carry a Canadian passport you should be okay if you answer questions properly. It doesn't make any sense to carry both passports as a dual citizen. No offense but the Iranian passport is useless, might as well leave that at home.

I was born here but whenever I enter the US they ask random questions about religion and politics. This started happening in the summer. I've witnessed three women with Middle Eastern passports detained. Two were Somali. The US has the right to reserve whether or not they want to refuse or allow you entry. You should respect the values of the country or don't come at all. I'm sure it's the same in even Muslim countries so this outrage seems fake.

If you are naturilzed canadian citizen your passport will indicate your place of birth
