In just my other thread, one user was repeatedly accused of being a self hater despite the fact they only have Somali friends and associate with Somalis for the most part. The truth of the matter is, genuine self hatred is something that is very rare in the real world. A true self hater would want nothing to do with Somalia, its culture, its language, and its people. For someone to be labelled that because they don't sweep the problems affecting the community under the rug or go to a palestinian protest is endemic of a much larger problem, actually.
It's interesting that the same people who emphatically reject the afrocentric way of thinking employ the same smear tactics against their ideological opponents. Anyone who doesn't tow the party line is dubbed a self hater, uncle tom, coon, and so on. The truth of the matter is, the "self hater" is often more astute of the problems affecting the community and has the best chance in solving them.
