Where in the world do you see a Foreign minister of a nation visiting an ambassador in his own country? Fiqi should just resign as he is unfit for this job and he's really not the FM, Cali Balcad is.

I think the bigger issue is Fiqi being undermined by Balcad and his boss, Gurgurte. If he’s the foreign minister let him do his job, but it seems Balcad is more trusted and related to Gurgurte so he sends him to do the job Fiqi is supposed to as FM. Pretty redundant and silly stuff. Farmaajo for all his faults clearly had more defined roles and a better handle on things. I’m no fan of either man but HSM seems to prioritize family and personal interest above all else, hence why we see this.

They usually only visit for special events but in this case both the FM and his deputy where summoned to the Turkish embassy just a day apart. It's clear to see they're both undermining each other.

I didn't even know who the hell the deputy FM or state minister was during Farmaajo's presidency.

Gurguurte has done this in the most important ministries. He'll put in a token minister for posts that he can't give to Beesha dheexe due to 4.5 but the power will be mostly with the deputy or state minister who is from his clan. It's either that or naming a special envoy and advisors who the job of the minister.

I think he does this cause he is corrupt to the core and always has been. It’s exactly how the mafia operates. He wants family and close associates to be the only ones to know because he trusts them not to become whistle-blowers on his illegal activities. He doesn’t want anyone else who is independent because they might tell on him. Mafia literally means ‘Mia familia’ aka ‘my family’ in Italian. Jihaan his daughter, Hinda Culusow his sister, his other kids, his wife, Cali Balcad and another guy called hebelow Cali Adoon, etc etc. It describes him perfectly.
