Well! He list contact with the mother after she ran away while pregnant with him. Civil war happened and that made matters worse.

Now the man probably put 2 and 2 together. It took him awhile because Somali singers go by just first name basis.

I'll have to admit, this man is throwing a hail marry. He is stuck in Somalia and doesn't have a child in the qurbo and so it is his hope that Cawaale is his long last son.
