Very interesting. Going to North Korea is a big NO to me after hearing the facts. Someone getting jailed for 15 years because he stole a post card or something in a hotel. I feel sorrow for the people living there.I have already seen another video of a trip to north korea by Vice. Are you interested in going to North Korea?

I've always had the perception that North Korea was a unbuilt, backward city, but the architecture and buildings are truly phenomenal. I don't see myself going there, but I have many questions. For instance, how do they build apartments, malls, nuclear weapons with the sanction opposed on them? It doesn't make sense how they survive and how their current leader Kim June Un spends 600 million on Lavish gifts a year.

It is really interesting. The whole point of traveling to a country is to mingle with the locals, at least for me. If you are not allowed to talk to them, then what is the point?

You are right. Where do they get the funds from ? And who would like to invest in there ? Maybe chinese people. But you shouldnt forget that there are forced labours as I think.

North Korea has lots of natural resources like coal, gas, minerals and fish. I am sure they deal with either China or black market. As long as you have natural resources you're guaranteed to have income. Even ISIS exports for billions of oil money into the black market.
