Now then, girls what active role should Somali men play in creating a more equal and just society not only back home but also in Somali communities around world? I hope the moderators make this a sticky thread where ideas can be freely exchanged without harassment. @Kaleel @AbdiJohnson

I start by discussing the precedence a man's career takes over his wife, I see often many educated sisters who are relegated to taking a housewife role and their careers impeded preventing them from ever entering the work force since they little experience. I think more needs to be done about this problem, maybe the father can spend more time with the kids or nurses can be hired to care for the children.
