Look at how humble and down to earth he is. Mashallah.

Name another Somali politician who will do this? They're all fake.

Asad is the real deal.

If this young man is elected, I believe he will move Puntland in a new direction. As a man on a positive journey, I know when I see a like minded person. :)

He is deliberating with General Siciid Dheere and Gen. Morgan. They take him serious :wow:

Siciid Dheere: anigu maleeshiyada reer khalaf ee bookh iyo kuwa cabdi ciise ee jeexdin ayaan soo wadaa
Morgan: aniguna kuwa sool ayaan hawl galinaya
Asad: aad baan uga helay fikirkiina

Has this person lived outside of Somalia before?

How old is he?

What educational qualifications does he have?
This person is General Asad, the new president of Puntland, put some respect on his name!

No he has never left the country. He's not a diaspora who doesn't know anything about the internal things that goes on in the country. That's why he's perfect for the job.

Don't be offended with these questions.

How can Asad organise one-man one-vote when he has never seen democracy before?

How can Asad develop Puntland when he has never seen development before?

How can Asad deal with western educated political opponents when he does not have the same amount of political acumen?

How can Asad deal with FGS when he has never seen federalism in action before?

How can Asad sign trade deals when he has never seen a project larger than Bosasso airport?

----

I would not be sad if Asad wins the election but I'm not sure he is educated enough to take Puntland forward. Being president of Puntland requires a certain amount of political acumen.

What PL president has done this?

How can Asad develop Puntland when he has never seen development before?

Like any other native president dumb question... how did Paul Kagame develop Rwanda?

How can Asad deal with western educated political opponents when he does not have the same amount of political acumen?

Western education doesn’t equal superiority.

How can Asad deal with FGS when he has never seen federalism in action before?

This one makes no sense.

How can Asad sign trade deals when he has never seen a project larger than Bosasso airport?

Refer back to my previous answer about plenty of native presidents in other countries have done the same thing...

It seems you think that non diaspora are inferior which is absolutely disgusting tbh.

I have responded to your illogical statements before but here we go again.

There is nothing wrong with a native president. The only problem is with candidates that grew up during the civil war. They never saw a stable nation and society, but TFG, war and Al-Shabaab.

1. Sooner or later PL will need to implement one-man-one-vote, Diyaano will not be capable of doing that as he is not properly acquainted with the concept.

2. Kagame completed A-levels at one of the most prestigious schools in EA, the alma mater of Yoweri Museveni among others. His generation and before had the benefit of western-level education in their home nations. Oranges and apples.

The point is that Somalis that lived through the civil war are not capable of leadership if they have never left the country. If he studied in even Malaysia or India, I would accept it. But growing up in buuq, dhagaal and nothing else is problematic.

I have stated that we need to have civil service training programmes for civil war kids before we allow them to take power.

There are so many factors that need to be looked before considering such a candidate.
