Universities there are a joke. They use a Canadian law textbook at a "university" there that shall remain nameless but is one of the top schools there.

Price is not correct. Most universities in Somalia charge only a couple hundred bucks ($400-$900 range). Usually the majority of students in Somalia are funded by diaspora relatives.

There's no expensive university in Somalia (this includes Somaliland).

Source? What a rip off, especially for the location (East Africa). Even in advanced Kenya tuition is not that high. I find it hard to believe it is for Somaliland.

Each quarter is $500 with books included. They make you pay for books.

PS. I wish Somali universities focused more on STEM subjects. They mainly train people to become social scientists instead, which isn't very useful in the Horn.

There should be a limit cap on these useless degrees. No more than 80 students should be allowed.

They need to focus vacations studies. School of international level cuisines. Electrical engineer and infrastructure/home building degree. They would instantly get a job or create jobs.
