This is a bit cringe worthy to me, I think I just don't like spoken word poetry. (& The comparing of cars and telephones to classrooms was weird imo)
I do, however, have some sympathy with this position. There's that fairly famous ted talk that touches on a similar thing. I do wonder what people mean when they say they want to educate children 'for the future', who knows what 'the future' is going to look like? But individualized teaching certainly sounds like a good idea to me, but I think that would require much more resources and cause quite a bit of upheaval to current systems, which I doubt any government wants to get into.
