Imo I'm not a fan of the term terrorism or genocide. Since these terms can change. For example Mandela wad a terrorist until he became in the government.

I thought terrorist was anyone who targetted civilians. Over proper jihad and combat of war but those days are gone.
It's pretty much been confirmed that Israel played a part in the killings on October 7th and is directly responsible for ~10-20% of deaths. Doesn't really help their case that the IDF is publicly initiating the Hannibal Directive to all citizens which essentially means they will kill any hostages to prevent intelligence from leaking out.
So Hamas never really "turned" on Israel. It was a calculated move by Netanyahu to garner political support, they're controlled opposition.
What age are you? Walahi you sound like some edgy teenager, people are dying, with or without the Oct 7 incident it was a slow or fast death for the Palestinians.
