If true this is big because it’s a fact that international countries have the final say in Somali affairs.
It seems like the extension and 1m1v are going to happen on the back of American influence.
Farmajo sacking khyere was a mistake America would have given him 1m1v and an extension without him going to the abgaals by giving them another state

This is very dangerous. The Mudulood clan already opposed his extension and they dominate the city. If they want to, they’ll eventually drive this wannabe dictator out and it can trigger worst scenarios.

This is why the United States supports the benadir state resolution because they know what would happen. Don’t be surprised to see some constitutional changes it’s time we had solid law and a provisional constitution isn’t powerful enough

The USA disapproves of Somalia’s federalism. It thinks of it as clan blocks with a monarch.

Farmaajo is heading toward the path of anarchy and destruction just like his tyrant uncle. He needs to step aside for he disappointed the Somali people.

Don’t be surprised to see a ssc state in the waqoyi come to fruition. The provisional constitution will most likely be replaced and the rules to become a federal state will change. Somaliland is banking on a trump reelection if Donald doesn’t get another term ictraf won’t happen bixi went extremely overboard with the China and Taiwan situation because he knows how opposed to China trump is it’s a Hail Mary for Somaliland we will see this November

Farmajo will split Mudulood.
He will ask for extension from parliament and after less than an hour announce the
next PM will be Mudulood.
So that is how the drama will die.

The United States wants a centralized government for Somalia because
The fundamental issue why, despite having made technical advancement, things aren’t working are:Authority, Financing, command and control.
It seems like farmajo has gotten what he wants through the USA.

This is worrying. But it seems also the US is doing the same in Ethiopia and wants centralised.which is even a disaster.

The USA has been experimenting on Somalia since 1990s.
They have turned us into case studies.Anarchy, religious fanatics, federalism, centralism then what's next Monarcy?

Then they call us failed state when we are the guine pigs in their lab.

America has advised farmajo to get a muddlood pm and to make benadir a state in order to appease the opposition. The reality is the constitution will be changed for the sake of not having a civil war
New PM is most likely a Sacad guy, Mudulood doesn't care about PM, they just want Benadir state.

6 hours until the vote, let's see what happens

The current FGS admin has had a high level lobbyist in Washington with ties to the Trump Admin. Them moving their highest level diplomat on the continent as well as restarting their mission to Somalia within the time frame of the last 3 years was a clear signal that President Farmaajo was their guy. This brought him a lot of room to maneuver with strength and he has taken advantage of that.

Somalia is at a crucial place in terms of setting a course for the next few decades and continuance of governance is only going to increase stability. Our relations in the region with our neighbor Ethiopia for example has taken on a new look in the last 3 years in contrast to the nonsense beforehand where all of these regional leaders acted as de facto state leaders and undermined the states sovereignty. That in itself was a monumental shift in stability that needed to be made.
