Waji is arabic and fool have other meanings like the front teeth.
Fool means face. Same root and meaning is found in Oromo and other Cushitic languages. SOM: Fooldhaqo (wash your face, not forehead). Foolxumo (ugly, literally bad face).
Another meaning of Fool is to describe labour pains of a woman about to deliver.
As for Weji, it is an Arabic loan word.
