Yeah it’s cause of mentality like that my father was never able to find work in his field and had to work in adjacent field despite having 2 masters degrees from McGill

god knows how many times I’ve seen some 18-23 year old cadaan kid be pushed into foreman role, by 25 he’s general foreman or running the project. Whereas the random black person who’s much more qualified, experienced and liked gets passed over.

Blacks don't have the soft skills or do the work to be well liked when it comes to who matters, that's why. They don't joke around with cadaans or talk about last night's game, they don't buy a two-four for their boss and drop it off at their house for Christmas or take an hour of their busy time to listen to an emotional white woman about her petty problems or give her non-sexual compliments when she's in a moment of insecurity. That little cadaan kid didn't become foreman with a resting beach face putting his head down or cries over a playful, racist cadaan joke. No one who is well liked gets passed over as you claim. I get chosen over whitey many times in my white male dominated industry. That's when I realized it's just typical Black oohin and them wanting everything for nothing. Maybe they should try smiling more and be more approachable for starters. Hehe.
