These designer hybrid dog breeds are getting out of hand. Seriously, breeding animals isn’t Pokémon!!!!

One of the main misconceptions of them are that they’re superior to its purebred counterparts because of hybrid vigor. For instance, if Labradors that are prone to hip problems are crossbred with Poodles who are prone to eyesight problems, you may end up with puppies prone to both conditions. One of the most current design dog breeds is a Chipit, which is an American Pitbull or Staffordshire Terrier(Mum) & Chihuahua(Dad). Here’s 2 of them from my job:

That’s a horrible combination because they had the very rough play style, jaw strength, & stubbornness, tendency of pittie with the temperament of a CHIHUAHUA!!!!! They were very had to deal with when they first came to my job. They have all have a serious Napoleon complex.

Take the labradoodle for example. Most breeders are claiming that the dog is healthier, family friendly, non-shedding, low-energy, hypoallergenic, etc. However -- none of that is guaranteed and some of it is an outright lie.

When you mix a lab (which has a coat that sheds) and a poodle (which has a non-shedding coat), some of the puppies will end up with a mix of both coats, which is sometimes even more difficult to deal with than either a lab or poodle coat.
