Don’t really see the issue with what he said, if he has said that. Slavery in Islam can only happen through prisoners of war. Jihad is also apart of Islam.

Ibn Taymiyyah said that a sign of ahlu bidcah is that they separate and turn on each other. If you follow the said groups closely, as I have, you'll see that they declared many shakes they use to praise as ahlu bidcah now and warn against them

So if that is the case you can enslave.
