I know that but the thing that’s confusing me is we can’t even get a loan? A project? Nothing? We’re propped up by the US yes but surely they can’t have 100% control. Even Egypt like you said gets infrastructure projects built for them.

What is nothingburger? The agreement between ENDF & CNDF? That’s pretty significant to say the least. Somalia hasn’t come with anything of the same significance since the diplomacy battle with Ethiopia regarding its militarily.

There will likely not be any war between Somalia and Ethiopia so its all bluster. What is real however is that Egyptian troops will be coming in and Ethiopia has no counter to that.

Yes that’s good sxb but I want a deal of the same magnitude for Somalia. The same way turkey is apparently making us shipyards to build ships, we should also have a military technology sharing and cooperation agreement with turkey. Xabashi are casually building tanks in their backyard, it’s irritating that somalia currently isn’t as ambitious. Maybe when tax goes into effect it will be who knows.

Agreed. Somalia's military is still weak so even though we don't need a whole lot to fight against Al-Shabab, in the future a well armed and trained SNA will prevent Ethiopia from making anymore unauthorized incursions into Somalia. Deterrence is key here.
