It is becoming Africa's first high tech hub, the Silicon Vally of Africa.

One downside though, from my experience I know that once the dictator dies the country would left in chaos. Thats what happens when you dont get the people ready for democracy.

Tutsis aren't a real ethnic group. They are more like a caste. Like you find in India. They are basically an ex-herder caste, while the Hutus were the farmer caste.

They have become a defacto ethnic group, and yes I agree that what started out as class hierarchy has morphed into an ethnic group because of the Belgians I've met Hutus, and Tutsi they do see each other as two different ethnic groups even though in Rwanda, and Burundi they speak the same language.

Their differences go back much further in history than the appearance of the Belgians. Tutsi-Huti caste is at least a couple of hundred years old and on genetic analyses they do show differences (Tutsi being more Cushitic and Nilotic than the Hutu who are more Bantu). However, they speak the same language. And the ones in Congo and Uganda just speak the same language as their neighbors. Therefore I consider them more of a caste than an ethnic group as they lack a language.
