The biggest Islamophobic African countries are South Sudan, Nigeria and Kenya from what i observed. Other African countries come close second.

You would think it would be Ethiopia, but with Ethiopia it's limited to christian state ideology that has become more transient in recent years, it used to be more vocal and blatant.

Most Ethiopians I’ve met in the diaspora have not been islamophobic just my own personal experience

It's the same for me. I think it might be because they have a longer history of christian and muslim co-existence and interractions, so it doesn't feel as alien to them.

Based on the few tweets others have shared on here , they sound unhinged and totally out of their mind. My guess it's Christian European colonial ideology that made them like that.
