White nationalism works better than afrocentrism bc it usually pops up in White-settled countries (Australia, the Americas, UK) or countries where high-density immigration is perceived to be a threat (as opposed to White-origin, white dominant low immigration countries) bc the ppl are mutts, so they don't have a distinct ethnicity to rally around, so instead they rally around nationalistic or racial whiteness.

Meanwhile, the staunchest of Afrocentrists tend to be "black conscious" African Americans who bemoan a lost heritage while at the same time failing to understand Africa is many-country'd continent with tons of distinct, clashy cultures that can't rally around the ambiguity of "race" the way the Black Panthers and Klu Klux Klan and other groups have managed to do so in places like America. For Afrocentrism to work, whole regions would have to drop language and cultures for one superior system, which as we know isn't even guaranteed to work us being Somalis

I remember the time when some Namibian guy spent 2 hours trying to convince me that his Bantu-speaking people were the ancient Egyptians, the European ruling class in the middle ages were all black, showed me pictures of fake coats of arms belonging to various Germanic families. Depends, what do you mean by Afro-centricsim? If you mean the dumb we wuz kangz and black israelite stuff, then no. But I am pro-black, I want to see Africans and African nations do well, and I'm quite knowledgeable on African history.

Also, it's funny that people love to make fun of Afro-Americans who claim the Ancient Egyptians were black, but the don't really say much when cadaan people say the same thing. If anything, to me the white peoples claim is more ridiculous, because there actually were black and nubian ruling dynasties in Egypt. The only ruling dynasty that was European in origin was the Ptolemaic dynasty, but that doesn't really count because they were thousands of years removed from what we consider "Ancient Egypt". In terms of time scale, Cleopatra was closer to the moon landing than she was the building of the pyramids.
