Nah it’s over, I was working with an Indian who just got a work permit literally a month ago after being in the country for 5 years, so much for them leaving

How long was his work permit? The rules came into effect yesterday and they cannot exceed 1 year permits and only in places with employment rates below 6%. That's most localities so effectively no more can be processed. He got lucky.

He said his work permit is good for 3 years, accept it, it’s over.

And it’s not just him and a group of his friends that got it same time. Man was bragging on aiming just for pr cause he doesn’t want to let go of his Indian citizenship. There’s lots of Indians on that type of time, it’s time to revise PR rules.
