1.Breaking Bad- Greatest show ever without a doubt
2.Monster- Anime about a brain surgeon and a serial killer
3.Game of thrones- The greatest storyline ever
4.Mr.Robot- Minus all the qaniis shit it has amazing acting
5.Peaky blinders-Thomas Shelby a crime family boss that is always 3 steps ahead

Top 5 is pretty hard but lets see
  • Lost - Amazing one of a kind show that starts of really strong. Its really cool how from the start the show doesn't want to decide if it wants to be a science fiction or a full on supernatural show. I especially loved how it pits archetypes against one another, these are characters beyond just Jack and Lock.
  • The original Avatar series, of course. Also a great soundtrack (This is not anime right?)
  • Prison Break Season 1 - Great show with a myriad of interesting characters and a tight execution. Just pretend its a one season show.
  • Heroes season 1 - another great one season show
  • Vietnam war - A 8 episode documentary about the Vietnam war and the anti-war movement that was attached to it. The series is just one more in a long line of Vietnam documentaries from the POV of Americans but it was still good and tastefully done too. The score for it, which was just a copy and paste of the already amazing Social Network score, is pretty good and fits well

A honorary mention:
Chernobyl - A 5 episode "mini" series with beautifully cinematography, Score and dialogue. I still think on that court scene towards the end "the chain of disaster is finally complete".

Man I need new shows to watch, everything is pozzed these days, maybe I will go backwards to find stuff I missed out on. Apparently there were great TV shows in the 80s and 90s that focused heavily on Dialogue and Story, since special effects was expensive.

I like the list a lot, I watched watched lost for the first time two months ago. I can tell it gave inspiration to a lot of shows. I might give the sopranos a chance.

I need something new to watch as well, give me some recommendations. Shows that have amazing storylines and interesting characters.

Breaking bad- best crime series to exist no further explanation needed.

Chernobyl- intense series that is based off real events and is faithful to it.

Code Geass- never expected an anime to ever be this peak.

Vikings- Great Battle scenes first 4 seasons were 10/10 but the next two seasons are good too.

Friends- best sitcom ever there's not an episode where I didn't laugh also each episode is at most 28 minutes.

I have been meaning to get to the Sopranos but I never manage to.

I would reccomend BattleStar Galactica (2004) and Rome (2005), both were high quality productions for their time and they have elements from the above list.

Rome is a great show, especially season 1, as it takes its time and gives all the characters decent screen time. It also has the best Caesar put to screen so far.

Watch barry series from hbo it’s good show and the episode are no more than 30 minutes. Season 5 was disappointing for me but still an enjoyable show.
