The TPLF Military commander for Harar and Dire dawa was shot dead by one of the Oromo soldiers under his command
Also the ugly face of a civil war is starting to rear its head, the Gedeo region in Ethiopia is currently in its third day of destruction and chaos. arson, looting, killings. Militias and angry citizens of the Gedeo people started attacking and going full genocidal on the small Amhara and Guareg populations in the region. They were forced to run to the wilderness for safety.
Shit gets even more fucked up from there. The TPLF Agazi later showed up after the city engulfed in flames, acting like the saviors of the city, they brought up and executed the police chief of the Entire Gedeo zone, to appease the Amharas and Guareg.
Apparently it was the TPLF the whole time. The TPLF told party cadres of the region to start the ethnic hate and conflicts, but the TPLF showed its true face when they executed the regions Police chief. Government and party officials afraid that what happened to the commander was gonna happened to them, fled the entire region. There is now ruling state government in the region bc they all fled, and the region is under Martial Military Rule.
