Yes there is lol
Define oligarchy America is a extremely capitalist country and companies are engaged in cutthroat competition if you mean Tesla will get special treatment government treatment it’s unlikely to happen in this age of political scrutiny government contracts go to the company that can give Uncle Sam the best service for cheapest last time there was a “no bid contract ” was in like 2003 it caused a political scandal since dick Cheney was ceo of that company before he became vice president in 2001

Biden has been trying to halt mergers which shocked the business world since America isn’t known to do stuff like that especially in the heavily privatized neoliberal post 1992 Clinton economy

@Shimbiris russia has natural resources worth 75 trillion the most in the world after the collapse Boris Wanted to use it to become Sweden 2.0 but his Harvard economic advisers who saw the success of “Washington consensus ” in places like Mexico urged him to embrace neoliberalism long story short “ shock therapy ”quickly went of the rails and lead to the formation of an oligarchy helping solidify putins power for years to come

After the Asian financial crisis of 1997 some countries quickly realized the core flaws of the belief and places like Singapore invested heavily in infrastructure and they’ve been riding high ever since

There was this ridiculous belief in western countries during the 90s that the Cold War marked the “end of history ”and the every county would inevitably embrace western ideas of political liberalization the rise of China which was clear to see by the 2008 Beijing Olympics burst this bubble
