Pretty sure all somalis were using them

@Chaseyourdreamzz there was a Somali silversmith by the name of Abdurahman Kassim in Mogadishu in the 80s here’s some of his work.I wish people made traditional Somali jewellery today.The bisha cambarsheed necklace was considered the most elaborate in the Horn of Africa

All Somali jewellery was made by Somalis.People actually had talent now everybody wears trash jewellery from Dubai one thing I admire about the xabesh is that they have their traditional jewellery Somalis should hurry and follow suit there’s so many beautiful necklaces to recreate.

Somalis need a cultural restoration. I shared this in an ethio space and they told me it looked like what hararghe Oromo still wear. Hararghe are assimilated Somali clans and they somehow kept a piece of culture that we lost in the recent century
