Remember the airstrikes on Galmudug troops almost caused another civil war. Relaxing the rules will only cause more damage.

I'm not completely against US airstrikes. If the Somali Army co-ordinate airstrikes in collabration with the US air force then its fine & will prove effective. Otherwise, indiscriminate airstrikes will just help AS solidfy their grip on the hearts & minds of the locals.
