This plant will convert all types of waste into electricity, which will greatly improve the cleanliness of the capital and all kinds of waste will be used to generate free electricity.

This is a brilliant project, however a few factors to consider:
  • The whole of .So hardly produces enough waste (Does this mean Turkey will be shipping its waste to Xamar: what type of waste though? China buys most waste of the world),
  • 20,000 tons of waste a day (.So hardly produces 1/3rd),
  • Waste treatment,
  • Waste storage,
  • Initial power consumption (high level of usage by furnaces and incinerators),
  • Emission, which poses a healthy hazard (monitoring of dangers of high levels of emission).

Postscript:
  • Istanbul waste to energy plant created in 2017,
  • In Istanbul, the plant converts 3,000 tons of waste into electricity a day, 15% of city's daily power consumption,
  • 1 m tons of waste a year,
  • 30% of waste is incinerated,
  • 70% is recycled,
  • Incinerators burn waste at 1,000 oC (1,832 oF),
  • Produces 85 megawatts of electricity a day, which could meet power needs of up 1.4 million a day.

A good case study is Bangalore's, one of the largest plants.

Yes, this is a significant project that may also help to reduce electricity costs, which would be good for the economy. If this is accomplished, the price of energy will drop dramatically.

This is a good project. Any news on the other deal the BRA signed with a Turkish company concerning drainage system @bidenkulaha? This is the one I’m waiting for.

I forgot about the drainage system; it will be fixed soon, Saudi Arabia is sponsoring this project. When the mayor visited Riyadh last month, they pledged to provide funding for all of the city's essential needs.

Why don't they just expand the electricity grid and bring down prices thru renewables or mixed fossil fuel backbone? Ovens work with electricity and the consumer just needs to buy a connection, meter, and cook top which is far cleaner then gas and cheaper. Thru bad choices U can really f*ck up a country, this is why I don't want the federal govt involved in my state.

I think the point here to safely get rid of the trash. This is much better than dumping shit water on the road and dumping trash in the sea

Beco is doing that but also trash is a huge problem in the capital it's littered everywhere so the best solution is a biogas plant.

wait a minute so biogas can only process organic things like sewage and rotten food ?? we need a full on incinerator. Somalia needs fossil fuels too coal plant is a good place to start. power unlocks everything, solar panelsisnt gonna power a steel mill is it? or any other type of manufactor
