They are stakeholders like everyone else (albeit far more active than others). Somalia is virgin, untapped land that's rife with opportunities and Turkey just wants to get in early.

Right but we should also note that unlike the arab states and our neighbouring countries it's in their interest for Somalia to be stable and on its feet. And Erdogan and goes out of his way to support oppressed Muslims like Palestinians, Rohingya, and even the MB of Egypt.
