Good, those damn secessionist nearly got not only them but all of Somalia involved in that middle east proxy war mess by allowing the UAE to build a military base there so they can use their fighter jets to bomb the shit outta Yemen from such a close range base.
That base would've painted a large target on all of Somalia by Yemens biggest supporters Iran, but hey, anything for recognition including joining another persons war am i right my fellow Somaliland brethren?

That was the stupidest thing they could have done. Put my family at risk of iran hitting them with missiles. I'm damn pissed at us for doing any deals with these lizard eaters, when they hate us and use us for their personal agenda. This is in reference to the proposed militarily air base which is now being converted into a civilian/commercial airport. And frankly that isn't a loss.

That is a very shortsighted take.
The UAE+KSA's interest in the region was in response to the Turkish base in Mogadishu. The last thing the UAE+KSA bloc want is Turkey to have a presence in the Gulf of Aden.
In short there's a proxy war brewing in the Somali region and the rivaling blocs will do everything and anything to defend their interests in the region.
