Nah, I'm not a fan of their politics at all but if the Gulf collapses that's basically it for the Middle East. What will we all have as a refuge place where we can still hear the call to prayer.and still live first world standard lives? Inflation ridden Turkiye? Iran?! The in shambles Levant and Iraq? Masr? Please... the Khaleej is the only decent part of the region infrastructure, economics and safety wise.

I hope they become more democratic, that these monarchies are transitioned out, and that they stop all this madness overseas but I sincerely hope it happens peacefully and carefully. No collapsed Burj Khalifa please.

I look pretty young too. When clean shaven the undergrads at my recent Business School thought I was one of them. Couldn't believe I was a day over 23 at times. Even with the full beard I grow a friend once said "It's like a baby with a beard".
