First of all, our 'community' is not mixed. We might have some diversity amongst us, but the overwhelming majority of the population are ethnically Somali.

Second of all, you've brought forward bad examples. Somali can be both an ethnicity and nationality, which is not the case for Morocco or Kazakhstan. Moroccan is only a nationality and their main ethnic groups are Berber people and Arabs with minority Jews and Black people. Likewise, Kazakhstani is the nationality while the main ethnic group is Kazakhs and minority Russians, and other Turkic people (Uzbeks, Uyghurs, Tatars) and other Europeans (Ukrainians, Germans).

Speaking of 'physical appearance', it's true that the Berbers look different depending on regions, but Berber itself is an umbrella term for different ethnic groups like Tuareg Berbers and Tarifit Berbers. As far as Kazakhs, most of them have a certain 'Turkic' phenotype. And white people identify with their ethnic group, such as Russian-Kazakhstanis.

I was only talking about Morocco too. In your response to @Khaemwaset, you used 'ethnic Moroccan'. That's incorrect because Moroccan isn't an ethnic group, but merely a nationality. Nothing more. You have to specify either Arabs or Berbers. Not to forget, Berber people are also diverse within Morocco itself and not just as a 'whole' in north Africa.

I know that the map below shows the languages of Morocco, but Berber is a confederation of distinct ethnic groups, which the map gives a hint off. Some of them are more similar with each other, while others have more differences. Look up the definition of Moroccan and Berber for your own sake.

Every ethnic group have some degree of diverse physical appearances. It could be that those 'Iranian looking' ones have had a higher admixture of non-Kazakhs blood or due to environmental factors as they live on a vast land with different conditions, I'm not sure tho.

Also, how come Banaadiris are ethnic Somalis to you, while implying that Bantus aren't? There are some Bantus/Jreers who have lived in Somalia for centuries too, some of them have mixed more with ethnic Somalis than Banaadiris. If anything, you don't make sense at all. Why do you choose who you want to include and leave out others based on your own definition of the Somali ethnicity, lol?
