UK Defense Minister meets with President of Somalia

The UK trains many Somali troops at this time and is initiating a process to enlist more trainees in their program as well as increase the capacity of the Somali armed forces. They are amongst the countries that placed us on an arms embargo and thus are important in lifting it as well. Our military has risen back in the ranks quickly even with the embargo, but once it's gone then things will begin to move quickly in the fight against extremism.
