in the end, there is no state called somalia, and Puntland and Somaliland will settle this matter peacefully, and both will prosper as independent states

Here's hoping.
SL, however, won't budge on the colonial borders without guarantees of recognition (understandably). PL can't guarantee recognition on its own, and they have not made any suggestion of doing so anyway.

yeah, but they dont have control of their pre-colonial
to be honest, puntland on its own, can be succesful, but we need a succesful partner, something the south cant give us
qabil politics aside i wouldnt mind if we joined a union with somaliland

It would certainly get rid of the border disputes between the two.

yeah exactly, ive been to somaliland and puntland, your average somali there just wants a safe enviromrent for their kids, i share no hatred towards my northern brothers
if you delete power hungry leaders who use the qabil card, we could be a successful union, as highlighted by the fact that both regions are the only stable parts in the former country of somalia

No, Somalis should be united. Even though Ethiopia and Kenya are occupying Somali lands, our first priority should be cooperation and development to fight poverty since shacabka are more interested in having business/education opportunities.
