US lifts sanctions on Sudan

Why is it great news? I’m honestly curious.
South Sudan is independent now. I always thought the sanctions were unfair.
Do you think South Sudan is gonna succeed or fail?
I always thought it was better off as two countries. But I think they'll come up with a power sharing method similar to Somalia's or Ethiopia's federal model and succeed in the end.
There are a lot of South Sudanese where I live and a lot of them are not very successful. Some of them are ciyaal suuq even. None of them seem to care about education! But I wish them all the best. In your comment are you talking about North and South Sudanese power sharing?
They've been experiencing insecurity for decades. A lot of them were born in refugee camps, before South Sudan became a state. They'll catch up in a generation. Are you in Australia?
No I meant between the biggest two tribes in South Sudan.
