Do you guys follow any utopian ideas? I'm not using the word in a negative sense. I just mean ideas that are not yet mainstream. A couple of users told me they are centrists. I was surprised by that because young people tend to be drawn to idealistic movements. They're world savers bent on slaying evildoers and putting monsters to bed. They incline toward heroic gestures in their political thinking. More revolutionists than gradualists. They see things in stark terms without much ambiguity. Not saying it's good or bad. Just an observation.
It's hard to get people fired up for moderation anyhow. When I was growing up in the height of the Cold War the big thing was Marxism-Leninism. You had to pick a side. It didn't matter if you'd never read Jalle Marx or Adam Smith. Few did. But you still knew how to use words like dialectical materislism and the invisible hand of the market.
I wanna see where young Somalis's headspace is these days. It'd be interesting how much of the world's philosophies has seeped into qaxooti skills. Tell us about your unconventional beliefs and how you came by them. I've listed the most common ideologies up. Perhaps there are others I've missed.
