Video of Some Interesting Looking Pyramid Structures in Somalia

It'd be crazy if turned out the nasa hablood were actually some ancient temple/tomb that got covered . If they were they'd probably date back to punt.

Aren't those just hills? Though, I'll admit that I always found it odd and interesting that they're basically two sudden hills in what is otherwise a relatively flat terrain. Feels man-made and I've read-up on Sada Mire and others saying there are very big burial mounds, of which Naasaha Hablood might be an off-shoot, dotted across parts of Somaliweyn and have had relatives show me pictures of some alleged ones that looked like massive hills.

You definitely do see small cairns, dolmens and kurgan-like smaller burial mounds just driving across parts like the northeast. On a highway journey from Boosaaso to Garoowe I saw several such structures.

Our ancestors were of the same general cultural continuum as the Nubians and Egyptians and our overall region seemed obsessed with ritual burials for elites (burying them with their riches like gold and livestock) then covering this up with lots of piled rocks and/or an earth mound. If you ask me, Nubian and Egyptian Pyramids are essentially the ultimate manifestation of this ancient obsession in Northeast Africa similar to how the Aksumite stelae are the ultimate expression of old Horners' obsession with stelae burials and structures that even spread to pre-Semitic Yemen.
