Watching docuseries on Netflix got me thinking....

So I absolutely love binge watching murder mystery or historical docuseries. I've watched so many on Netflix and tbh it's what keeps me subscribed to them and pay them.

They have produced some incredible documentary series with multiple episodes. I've binged watched on one that was 10hrs long previously in a day!!

Their producers are highly talented in bringing together all the individuals involved in some way and share their story alongside factual evidence and footage. They do it in a way also to keep both sides of the argument included and allows the viewers to make their own judgement.

So it got me thinking... suppose Somalis all over the world petitioned Netflix to do an incredibly detailed 10hr long series on the history of Somalia from before colonisation to civil war, to current - whether they'll consider it if we helped crowd fund..?

Last month I watched one on the cold war and Russian history which was 9hrs. Was fascinating.

I figure while we still have some of the elders still alive who witnessed or even took part in the civil war and collapse of Somalia, it would be worth doing this in the near future. Let me know your thoughts.
