They can’t even wear it work and have to make their hair more “appealing” by wearing wigs or straightening their hair which usually leads to damage. White women can do braids and we have people applauding them. I think this is where the issue stems from, the double standards.

I don’t think anyone is applauding them. And if they choose to applaud them and not you, that’s their right. You can’t force people to applaud you.

If they don’t claim it then there’s no issue with that. I remember a few years ago Kim k got a well known style of braids done and renamed the style after a white actress lol. Ofc people got mad, social media blew up. Most people find ignorance and disrespect annoying, that’s all.
