With blood and Iron will we reach the fatherland
In my thread of 2017 'Somalis need a cultural revolution', i talked about a need for a revolution to restart and shape a new and better Somali identity and culture for the nation. https://www.somalispot.com/threads/somalis-need-a-cultural-revolution.26535/page-3

I am convinced that we need to build a new Somali youth league that transcends Qabil from the diaspora. We have lawyers, teachers, oil engineers and police officers and military personnel across the world (In Finland were conscription is present at least 6 thousand Somalis have been trained). We are many times richer than the collectives Somalis by home including the welfare recipients.

In I. M. Lewis, A pastoral democracy: a study of pastoralism and politics among the Northern Somali of the Horn of Africa, (LIT Verlag Münster: 1999), p.304. it states 'To empower the new party, the better-educated police and civil servants were permitted to join it'. It does not have to be diaspora only, those with the similar mindset ( SideNote: clan elders only have power if we the youth let them) can be found across the country they only need to be guided. Abdullahi Issa open offices not only in Italian and British Somaliland, but also in the Ogaden and in the Northern Frontier District (NFD). We could open ones also in major Somali hotspots like Minneapolis, London and Stockholm, there are 1.1 millions Somali living in the west.

If anyone asks what about funding, just remember The Somali National Movement aka Somaliland started with funding from a group of Isaaqs dissidents living in east London in 1980. Fundraise, letter-drop, event nights, political discussion and a Somali Youth league website is needed to reach the youth. If you want an example Katie Hill ( https://twitter.com/katiehill4ca?lang=en) raised 400k with her friends by calling and letter droping in a few months.

My suggestion is first to set up an international network organization/political branch and network with Somalis on the ground in Somalia, sign up to the Somali parliament ( i know our enemies will fight to work against out) but we should continue to open offices in all Somali cities and spread the message. We should get everyone from the farmers, militas to every level of society, that way whatever our enemies do we are already part of the society bedrock.

In Japan which at the time fall into national clan chaos, it was saved by Meiji's cabinets with top-down ideas like public education, social mobility and a real army. The conscript army also made the samurai obsolete and suddenly their privileges were stripped for them causing a war between the army and the samurai. So why do i mention this? well besides that fact Japan changed to save itself with just a hand full of educated bureaucrats, it was the conscript army i want to highlight. No clan militias can or could beat a national army.

In my own opinion further down the line, Somalia should be a One Party system that includes all clans, with merit as a key factor. In China, officials are elected for their technical expertise making China in some ways a technocracy. The series of political compromises explain why China is economically much more successful than other communist countries of the past with just one political party. There is more cohesive legislation allowing China's government to react quickly to market trends, while their communist ideology also lends itself to long-term economic policy which has allowed them to prosper.

The reason we are here is that we allow the status quo,
Let me know what you think? I refuse to die till Somalia is a real nation :fittytousand:

I believe in this.... However with the people on this website, saying hello to one another is like forgiving their mother's murderer. I too hope for a day that Somalia is a nation.
By the way may I ask what your occupation/field of study is in and what diaspora you hail from (since I heard Finland and all)- feel free to not say if you feel like it.

I knew about the conscription, I have family there, however I didn't know that they allowed immigrants/asylum seekers to join there army. And I mean even if they did, they would be winter/cold weather specialists and Somalia is mostly desert and plains, with a few mountains here and there. However, the other mentioned roles are tantamount to rejuvenating and bringing the country into the modern age. However, there are various social, religious and international/political boundaries that we must first overcome, Inshallah we'll over come them and rebuild the Motherland, until then work hard and better yourself in time for it, for there is as many a time to rise as there is to fall.:fittytousand:
