He was the realest, I was the baddest 💋
This post ain't even entirely about those unhinged knock-off hyperborea r3tards (D4rkNN) who always post cringeworthy fascist edits, there's a good chunk of Somalis out here who unironically believe that it's real and it boggles my mindddd

There's no decent or credible translation of Herodotus's manuscripts (the Histories) that mention anything about Macrobia or a wealthy East African kingdom in general. Mind you, most if not all of the "decent or credible" translations in question are notorious for diverging A LOT from the original manuscripts (so just imagine how the shittier versions are like :damn:). A lot of these individuals writing these books aren't even translators or linguists, one of them is literally a business man............yeah
:deadmanny:

There's about 46 manuscripts/fragments, but most were discarded which only leaves 7 relevant ones and yet SOMEHOW these people are coming up with +600 pages of "historical events". There's also copies of the "entire book" that were SUPPOSEDLY made in the ~11-15th century. I don't buy that sh*t, 9/10 chance it's fake because they haven't done any proper examination to confirm its dating plus the condition of these copies are too good to be true. I mean ffs they're using indicate punctuation which is a completely foreign thing back then for the Ancient Greeks. It was probably made in the 19th century (when it was first "discovered"), the 1800s were basically the golden era for producing fakes. At the end of the day it's literally Herodotus, a lot of his accounts are more mythical than factual.

Somalis mostly live on low, dry, barren land. That would explain why our ancestors lived in a nomadic-pastoralist, non-sedentary, and or hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Those lifestyles are obviously not suitable for creating any type of (advanced) civilization or increasing longevity. We have 0 oral tradtion that backs up the absurd claims certain Western/European "scholars" keep throwing at us (and theres always a malicious reason too, iykyk). Don't fall for this sh*t, our ancestors were practically isolated and left alone until WAYYYYY later in history.

If you're gonna troll, why not target groups or organizations that harm us and treat us like trash!???? Y'all could've taken this hyperborea/d4rknn sh*t and turned it into a Black supremacist meme to piss off autistic white nationalist but y'all didn't and it's f*cking cringeeeeeeeeee. Failed opportunity

I am part of the team Macrobian. We're tall, elongated people who hit the seas and sailed the oceans. We're generous and help the travelers. We're warrior people who give any adversary a run for his money. We're located the tip Horn of Africa. We clearly fit the Macrobia description.

troll, despite their supermacist rhetoric, are doing far better than you. At least they aint defeated mentally. You're. Stop projecting.

I have never cared for the Macrobian thing but did a quick search in the archives.

Macrobians were likely Bejas or other Cushites that lived in that region. There is nothing to confirm or deny in this case. The name of the people was an exonym strictly from their longevity:

If I captured the information correctly, whatever Herodutous mentioned, had to do with the Macrobians, Egyptians, and Persians. Whoever the Macrobians were could not have been far from Ancient Egypt. Doubtful that they were Somalis since we were already established on the Somali coast by that point. The Macrobians might have been our ancient close cousins that we diverged from if we were going to stretch it, but not us.

A high connection maritime-based activity between 1000 BC - 500 BC connecting the Red Sea coastal peoples is possible. Perhaps there was political and economic consciousness with the Cushites:

Who knows what went on in those days? For all we know, there could have been high-level contact and a Red Sea civilization that we have not captured. I have an idea about certain things that can make this not impossible.

Macrobians might have just simply meant "Cushite." Similar to that outdated Hamite Theory thing that is false but can be paralleled with the Cushitic expansion on separate and distinct grounds.

The not-civilized and ignorant part is BS.

Macrobian is a powerful kingdom or empire that made the Persian empire afraid of them . Scholars agreed that Macrobian is based on Somalia and they think it’s proto Somalis
Idk if proto Somalis was just another ancient Somalis or Cushitic that lived in the horn or Sudan .

One thing I would say is that Macrobian was living in Somalia but are they Somalis ? Hard to know
I’m assuming they was different ethic group before proto Somalis came into the horn

They could've been the Sab Somalis who had a powerful kingdom back then.
