Dude, roundabouts are a thing of the past. They're dangerous, especially in many parts of Africa that lack traffic indicators and have reckless drivers. Even Kenya is getting rid of roundabouts and replacing them with intersections.

I'm really impressed with the overall city planning though. The grid plan in your second picture shows that the local officials are at least competent unlike those in larger cities that should be way ahead of Burco in terms of development considering all of the funding they receive. Kudos to Reer Burco. May they experience prosperity soon Inshallah.
