I lost someone recently due to suicide and I am worried they are being punished

Duas

1. Dua for Forgiveness and Mercy:**
*اللهم اغفر له وارحمه، وعافه واعف عنه، وأكرم نزله، ووسع مدخله، واغسله بالماء والثلج والبرد، ونقه من الخطايا كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس، وأبدله داراً خيراً من داره، وأهلاً خيراً من أهله، وزوجاً خيراً من زوجه، وأدخله الجنة، وأعذه من عذاب القبر ومن عذاب النار.*
*Translation:* "O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, give him peace and pardon him. Honor his resting place, make his grave spacious, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice. Purify him of sins as a white garment is purified of dirt. Grant him a home better than his home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him into Paradise and protect him from the torment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire."

2. Dua for Easing the Pain of Loss:**
*اللهم أبدله داراً خيراً من داره، وأهلاً خيراً من أهله، وادخله الجنة، وأعذه من عذاب القبر وعذاب النار.*
*Translation:* "O Allah, replace his home with a better one, his family with a better one, and admit him into Paradise. Protect him from the torment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.”


Surahs to Recite

1. Surah Al-Fatiha (The Opening):**
Recite this Surah and dedicate its reward to the deceased. It is a powerful supplication for mercy and guidance.

2. Surah Ya-Sin (Chapter 36)
This Surah is often recited for the deceased as it brings comfort and mercy to the soul.
