Germanic languages should be easy for a native english speaker.

Yea the only language I can fluently Is English. Never caught onto Somali since my parents mostly spoke English to me. Somali sometimes.

Are there any languages similar to English that wouldn't be as difficult to learn

People do say norwegian is easy, but that’s just the standard version. I was born and raised in West-Norway, and the dialect is very different from the standard bokmål dialect. And it gets even worse when you go up North. (They sounds like different languages). So, if you take all the those different dialects into account, then no.. it’s not easy.

German is ok, but by the time I learned it I was fluent in another language kinda similar to it. So, idk how it would be like for an english speaking person. Idk.. Maybe Spanish? or for somalis, Italian?

I am personally not that impressed by it, I wan’t to learn more languages. Insha’Allah.

But it is a good start, and knowing different languages can come in handy. I took an exchange year in uni (to Germany). Being able to speak their language really helped me out. (even tho the courses were in english)

Amazing!! Germany is where the heart of science is. I was debating whether or not to take this exchange year, but a friend of mine (who also went with me) convinced me.

I gained knowledge of chemistry I previously didn’t have( and I probably would never have if I didn’t travell). The courses I took were 2x more difficult than the courses back home.

The country was beautiful, and the people were so kind (but omg, they stare a lot). I learned a lot about myself, and really grew into a woman during my stay there!

I advice everyone to travel, and take a exchange year. You sure won’t regret it.

Yes their higher education is pretty serious. I hear not as many people over there go Uni hence why it's free. Wow nice. Lol the staring must have been awkward. Yesss I'm considering studying abroad.

So my 20yrd old ass watched the rest of the film. Literally just finished it.It was good. I'm more angry at the fact they weren't producing episodes and movies like this when we were younger
