Are you serious? It means with 99.999% certainty that your dad went to Somalia on “business” but is there spending your moms ayuuto money getting a second wife and building her a house. You probably have half siblings on the way, or already there.

First off, you shouldn't assume your aabo is lying. Show some respect. Secondly, he's probably buying the house for his family. That means you, your siblings, your hooyo and any other women he chooses to marry. Thirdly, a Muslim man does not need permission from his first wife to marry a second. There is no hadith claiming that. It would be courteous for him to do so obviously, but it is not required. Unless of course the first wife put that clause in her marriage contract before the nikah. Most women do not do this so a Muslim man is always considered single until he has 4 wives.

Many of you don’t know, nor care about the deen.
Teda kale, nothing’s wrong with a second wife. It’s the deceit that goes along with it (not telling your wife you’re getting a second wife). What a coward move.
Consent does not mean not letting her know about you marrying another woman.
You do not need a wife’s permission to marry, but you do need to tell her that you will marry another wife.
Learn the difference between the two.
