If they are well made, they taste good. I learned how to make them and liver from hooyo, so I buy them from holyland fresh once in a while and make them good.
I hate that taste as well, I'd get smacked with sandals if I didn't eat it.
Sometimes I eat it with chips but that's only if there's no ketchup and only other option is salt.
I knew a guy who'd get a spoon and eat mayonnaise out the jar, he had problems.
