no lie, it was actually a decent show. Good topics here and there. Only bad part was when they would rudely interrupt each other by talking loudly over the other. Aside from that, decent show.
i think they were disappointed with their pace of growth and were clearly not willing to put in the time & work to grow their platform.

i am somali. you have nothing to worry about, this community is here to stay. people assume i’m not online because i don’t contribute much to the forum, but i check in at least once a day and have done so for the last 4 years.
the momentum was there and it still is. podcasting is hotter now than it ever has been. if they stuck with it and remained consistent, imagine where their podcast would be today? it would have grown. maybe not as fast as they wanted, but it would be the largest Somali podcast without a doubt.
For a podcast to grow you need interesting people who have some life experience and are thought provoking. They didnt have that
no you don’t. there are plenty of podcasts that are not thought provoking but are entertaining nonetheless. the problem with sheeko sheeko was their execution, not their content.
Well thats everything. We can all come up with great ideas. If we cant execute it then its pointless
that i can agree with that but initially you said the problem was with their content, but i contend that if they were to return today with the same panelists, they would have an audience.

Sheeko Sheeko was great. But Somalis failed to support. I found it interesting to have fresh, youthful and diasporic views but they were almost too niche. I still think they should revive it for the loyal supporters and delve into more taboo topics.
